The bottle suggested serving with chocolate. I cut a chocolate Klondik bar into 4 cubes and poured 2 ounces of the Rasberry Merlot over it and served it in a shallow cup with a spoon. It was a hit with my friends. Great stuff!" "The setting is beautiful, the owners fun and enthusiastic, and the wine is good. (Really!!!) I was surprised at how much I liked some of the Fabbioli reds and their raspberry dessert wine was wonderful. I really had never liked a Virginia red before and was skeptical as to whether it was possible to produce a good red in Virginia. (Hey, after living in California near "Sideways" country for 8 years, I've been a bit spoiled.) I did buy a few bottles from Fabbioli - they just might change my mind." "I just wanted to say I throughly enjoyed my wine tasting at your vineyard last Saturday afternoon with the Reston Limos Public WineTour. Your team was well-organized, knowledgeable and professional. They even allowed me to taste the North Gate Viogner (which I bought.) Having the tasting outdoors is a great idea as well. The surrounding areas were well-suited for our picnic. We finished one bottle of the 2008 Cabernet Franc on Saturday and have two more left. It was definitely our favorite place out of the three visited on Saturday and we will be back for more." |
"I visited you’re winery on Sunday the 16th, and was amazed by you're staff, As soon as I stepped out of my car I was warmly welcomed into your winery. I was asked "are you hear for a tasting or Raspberry picking?" They both sounded wonderful. I chose Tasting at first! As I walked in, Christina greeted me in a very professional way as we proceeded to the tasting table where a fine selection of wines were displayed. I don't know much about wines, but the simplicity and elegance of her knowledge of wines was superb! As well, gave me a better understanding and respect for winery's. My choice of the selection was the 2007 Chambourcin, Rich in flavor and a exciting! I bought 2 bottles to try, And everyone enjoyed! Will be back for more!"
